Newbie

Hi to all! I go by RV in here, and I have been a minister of the Apostolic Faith for 30+ years now (though I do not agree to all that they practice and teach). I was baptized in Jesus' Name in July of 1975 and received the Holy Ghost - my life has never been the same since.

I have a wonderful family: wife, two sons, two daughter-in-laws and two beautiful granddaughters.

I am a full time Chaplain for SouthernCare Hospice as well as a Chaplain for the Greene Co. General Hospital, and I enjoy doing the immensely. I have two video clips of at Youtube.com - The Singing Chaplain, so check it out!

I also am an avid reader and enjoy studying in my free time (wow, there doesn't seem to be a lot anymore). I also love to garden and take care of my yard in which I have hundreds of plants and flowers that I thoroughly enjoy.
You can view some of them at: http://community.webshots.com/user/rava61
if you care to go there (also have some vacation pics).

I am looking forward to some stimulating conversation, and hopefully to build some new friendships.

RV
