Oh good grief! No I was not insulting Arphaxad. And how in the world can you go to Ichabod over that comment.
I guess folks see what they are looking for.

Well, let's get technical.
Ichabod interprets as "where is the glory," which denotes a once present glory has departed.
When you suggested to Arph that...
"if you have ever been in a service where the power of God moved you wouldn't need to ask the question,"
...your simply stating if God was present in Arph's service, Arph would know "the move of God."
Understanding God is omnipresent, for Him to remove Himself from a particular location/service, as you suggested being Arph situation, hence the "Gotcha Smiley Icon", you're perfectly describing the definition of Ichabod!

Well sorry you missed my intentions all the way around. Let me simplify it somewhat.
The response wasn't "to" Arph per se, but the question he asked.
The comment was to say if anyone had every experienced a move of God they would know what it is and wouldn't have to ask the question. The snowball was thrown in fun, because I am quite sure Arph knows quite well what a move of God is, and was simply looking for discussion.

The problem is God always shews himself mightily, but Pentecostals confine His power to only church building.
Have you ever heard a Pentecostal state "God moved in a mighty way," while they were at work or grocery shopping?
The disciples fell into this trap themselves until persecution came, then were the disciples scattered throughout the land. The disciples believed, as many modern day Pentecostals do now, that God power is only located in a geographical location, when in actuality He's located in your relationship with Him. It's for this reason many are defeated!

Oh oh oh oh oh oh! Pick me!
I almost started crying at work this morning...the presence of God was so thick and amazing. I don't know why, what, who, how..but WOW.
This happens quite often actually. I think it's cuz at work is one of the few times I have to think. Sad that I have more time at work while taking drive thru orders than almost any other time. lol

Re: Move of GOD
Don't it mean "lot's of people came to altar call but I can't remember what was preached."? hahahahahahahahaha
BTW-thanks for defending me Bro Cor, but really I don't get offended or insulted, usually the opposite.

Re: Move of GOD
The greatest move of God I personally experienced this year was at the lowest point of our home buying crisis. We literally had just "lost our house" (after being pre-approved multiple times) just a day before loading up the moving van and moving across the country.
It's a shame that God has to knock us down to the gutter before we see Him the best. But it sure was MY low point and I sure did see Him!
And through multiple miracles in quick succession, we ended up "rescuing" the home -from wince I type this very message!
