Re: I FINALLY got a tree!

What a fun time of year.

My five year old just whispered that she had finished and placed another gift. I asked her what it was... She said, "Shhhhh... it's for Jesus. It's got my heart in it!"

Re: Pureness of Heart for the Christmas Season

Stephen,

I had to copy this post and make it a thread of it's own.

Just too precious!

Re: Pureness of Heart for the Christmas Season

Do you remember back in the mid to late '70's, there was a song they used to play on the Christian radio station out of Flint, Michigan. The title was "My Heart Says I Love You".

It told a story about a mom whose daughter came to her one day with her Raggedy Ann doll and asked what her heart said on it. The Mom told her it said, "I love you."

the next thing she knew the little girl was walking around singing,
"My heart says I love you.
My heart says I love you.
Jesus you know what?
My heart says I love you!"

Anyone else remember that song? I loved it!

I just asked my wife about this "present" Alivia prepared. Turns out the idea was spawned last week.

The three Girls all sent messages "to Jesus" via helium balloons. Two of the balloons took off to Gloryland, but Alivia had a lot to say and her messages were too heavy for the balloon... Thus the idea of wrapping a gift for Jesus.

Oh to be young and innocent again.

That would be a wonderful gift this year. To have all the bitterness, hate etc, etc gone from the world, if only for a few days.

It sure would bring back some clarity and what should be important in our lives.

Peace
Harmony
TRUE LOVE

Ok, I'm thinking here.....

here comes another thread.....
