I am father of five little kids. I am always looking for games that I can play with my children that will also educate them about God. Does anybody have any ideas or good resources that they could share with me?

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

BK, I tell everyone who asks me questions even remotely like this about egadideas.com . It is a tremendous resource for games and ideas for Christian children, Sunday SChool classes, youth groups, etc.

I remember the days of 4, 6 and under. My hat's off to you for having time to play games.
I don't have any suggestions, but I hope there are some really good ones posted here.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
This isn't really a "game", but when I was little, my Dad recorded all kinds of Bible stories on cassette tapes for me (in his own words, with his own silly sound effects here and there). I LOVED them and listened to them over and over. I still have a few of them. It's great for little kids, and the nice thing is, now you can use your computer mic and put them on CD just as easily.
Bonus: Listening to stories is better for a kids' brain development than watching the videos.
Our local Bible bookstore has oodles of Bible versions of popular games for kids. Check out www.mardel.com.

Also, when you read them Bible story books, read the stories a couple of times, back to back. The first time read it to them completely through, and the second time, pause at the main words or names and see if they can fill in the blanks. Read the stories several nights in a row, and then let them turn the pages and "read" them to you.
