An encouraging word...
Rom 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
May these words remind us that our God is still on the throne. May we rest assured that nothing can come our way to deprive us of His near Presence. May the words of the Apostle Paul draw us closer to the Lord. Though there is much uncertainty around us, we rest in the knowledge that Jesus is the King of Kings... He is Lord of all.

Re: An encouraging word...
Thanks...
I woke up about 4 this morning, and these words from Romans 8 kept running thru my mind. Truth is... I've been letting some things "dis-connect" me from the love of God. This hasn't been an easy week for me, so I kept coming back to AFF for something to lift me out of the dumps- but it seems I've been drawing blanks lately. So, these words came to my spirit this morning.... I tried to think of something "profound" (as if I could ever think of something "profound") to add to Pauls writings. However, there was nothing to add, "profound" or otherwise. Paul had already said what I needed- and I hope this post helped somebody as well.
