BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin accused the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday of protecting Barack Obama by withholding a videotape of the Democrat attending a 2003 party for a Palestinian-American professor and critic of Israel. The paper said it had written about the event in April and would not release the tape because of a promise to the source who provided it.
McCain and Palin called Rashid Khalidi a former spokesman for the Palestine Liberation Organization, a characterization Khalidi has denied in the past. Both candidates said guests at the party made critical comments about Israel.

Its hard to trust recent rhetoric in light of the volumes of words and deeds that point to a different Obama than the one who has been tailored for the run for the White House.
I've said that the Obama we saw attending Rev. Wright's church and hobnobbing with questionable characters, is the same Obama that we see now. His words are just different. As he said "It's just words, It's just speeches".
The video is damaging to Obama, so they want to suppress it.
But if it was damaging to McCain or Palin, there's no doubt in my mind they'd release it. The mainstream media has just become shameful now with their blatant partisanship.
It's so absurd to me when people claim that there's no such thing as liberal media bias! What planet are these people living on?
How much more proof do they need?

They just need another 10 years, until the media starts openly admitting it like saying "Yeah were biased and theres nothing you can do about it."... Just give it some time =P

TR, there is absolutely liberal media bias...just as there is absolutely conservative media bias. All of them have an agenda. The absurdity lies in only recognizing or lambasting one side of the spectrum.

TS, stop the madness, please.
When you look at the totality of the media picture, ( network and cable news, radio, newspapers, etc) Liberal media bias dwarfs Conservative media bias in America by a very significant margin.
Besides, the 2 strongest bastions of conservative media, (Fox news and conservative talk radio) rose to popularity primarily because they attempt to provide a counterweight to the already long-entrenched liberal media bias that has dominated US media for decades.

TR, it's amazing to me that so many people like to dismiss the power and scope of the bastions of conservative media. Usually money is a good way to determine these things. This is an honest question, I really do not know the answer but I have my suspicions:
Is there any political pundit on any outlet who gets paid near the money of Rush Limbaugh? Also in general how do they line up from there? Where is Hannity on the scale as compared to others.

Stew, the liberal media bias controls all of the dissemenators of information on televsion with the exception of Fox News. ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, CNBC are all heavily tilted toward liberalism and the Dems.
The vast majority of newspapers are in the tank for the Dems as well as the news agencies like the AP, Reuters and others.
The conservatives have talk radio, Fox News and some stuff on the internet to count on. I hardly call that "Even Steven".
