years ago the UPC did Not send YOUNG single ladies as a rule to the mission field. When I was young I was told by some it was because of boys (native)...and girls becoming involved. Some older single ladies did go.
Some may remember and I will call no names for it was never a SURE thing...but a young girl that got shot on the field...this was many many years ago.
I was called...but if I had my life to live over I would not let a young girl come to the field...she would have to be called enough that she would do like I did...I just came.
I have seen to much too much...
I believe the plan of God is for couples...that may sound hard and some may say but you came single and God called...Yes that too is true...however knowing what I know today I donīt advise it.

Sister Falla YOU are right and the Bible is right...there may be a few Deborahs and Huldahs but GOD has a pefect plan...

I think an older single lady could go but not a young single lady... I donīt know if it waas a written rule or just an understood thing...
Women such as Pauline Gruise, Jean Bailey and others worked on the fields but they were not young young...

Maybe Bro. Epley should send this beautiful poem to all of his preacher friends that are supporting those women missionaries so they can enjoy it also.
