ok, got it. know a few folks who do that. wish they'd go back to the land they love so much more than the home of their fathers and grandfathers and such.

The churches website has been completely renovated since all the publicity about their "pledge to the nations of Africa." It now reads, "We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," Here is the link to the church website. It has been completely overhauled and most "African" pictures, wording, and so forth has been removed.

BTW, they used to have on their music page that choir members were required to wear African attire. Now, they have changed all the wording and have pictures in other suits, robes, etc. Furthermore, the attire of the Men's Chorus is actually African Muslim attire.
IMO, this church is working overtime to try and create another image. Much like Oprah's new commercials trying to convince people she still is a Christian after she lost so many viewers because of offensive comments claiming she is her own God and about the cross, God, etc.
P.S. They do say, "Imagine a church where Africa is part of one's theology."

Yes, I did. It amazes me that people believe Obama does not have any Muslim connection.

Yes, Yes, Yes !!!!
I'm not alone
Renda is right !!!
Look around people. The economy. Governments taking over banks around the world. Shady charactor becoming President of the only free country left, with ideals of government controling more of our lives.
You know when your in line at a roller coaster ride you contemplate getting out of line or staying in line. You contemplate your hat, camera, sunglasses and secure on you what you can, make arrangements for the rest. At the gate , you still can make the decision to back out. Once in the seat you get comfortable, figure out where your gonna put your stuff, make sure the guy dont cram that bar too far in your gut when he comes by and once again comtemplate if this is the ride you really want to take or not. Then it moves and the first leg is always that uphill climb. Slow and methodical as the chain that is pulling you up clanks against the rails.
This is where we are people, that almost quiet, slow, part of the ride just before it releases totally out of control that you realize.... No more decisions, no more options, your no longer in control, all you can do is hold on tight, grit your teeth and pray the ride won't be too rough.

OK. The article says while in college, he visited his mom in Indonesia, and then spent 3 weeks visiting Pakistan with a friend of his whose family was from there. Then he visited India.
What is that article supposed to prove to us?

We keep hearing Obama's an "undercover Muslim" , with "secret Muslim connections".
There are many people who believe that... including many who clearly WANT to believe it, for one reason or another.
But what they haven't provided to the rest of us is proof. I don't think that's too much to ask for. Innuendo and speculation is not proof.

TRFrance,
We will NEVER get proof of this kind of stuff because it's just not true!
If the fringe right can keep creating smoke, then all of us will be gagging on the polluted air of lies and character assassination.
At least, that is what the fringe right wants-- pollute the air with lies to the point where everything is covered in soot.
