Is this a sign of the times or what!

http://wcbstv.com/national/bloomberg....2.834431.html

If our Dispensational/Prophetic View of the End Times is correct, this current economic crisis seems to be laying a foundation for many nations to look to a miracle man for solutions.

But Philip Dugas taught us in school never try to read too much prophecy through the lenses of Current events as there is a long road of unfulfilled claims.

Perhaps another sign of the times too:

6 die in family murder-suicide in Los Angeles By CHRISTINA HOAG, Associated Press Writer
Tue Oct 7, 10:06 AM ET

LOS ANGELES - The only hints of trouble in the big beige house on Como Lane were the newspapers in the driveway and the lack of any activity behind the front door.

But when police summoned by worried friends of the residents got inside Monday, they found a horror — six members of a family fatally shot in a murder-suicide committed by an unemployed father in financial crisis.

K4H...

Is there a particular sign pointed out in scripture that you had in mind that this would be a fulfillment of?

Signs of the times that I have noticed and that I give credibility to:

leaves are turning brown and falling, a sign that fall is here

days are getting shorter, a sign that winter is approaching

pumpkins and mums are on display, a sign that Halloween is approaching

Christmas trees and decorations in stores, another sign that Halloween is approaching

lots of kids going past my house, a sign that school has started

Are things that much worse or does the information age just magnify the "bad" by 100x - 1000x?

A hundred years ago, the only murders that people heard about were those committed in their town or one close by. NOW we hear about murders in other states and on the opposite side of the globe. Have they increased? Or are we only now hearing about all the murder, mayhem, and misery occurring?

another question:

A man is in the forest alone, nobody around for miles,
if he is married and says something, is it wrong?

Re: Is this a sign of the times or what!

A man told me the other day that we are in for a bad winter. Lots of ice, cold and snow. I asked how could he tell? He said the fruit trees in our area are full. Limbs are breaking off the apple trees. I said, "Well, I don't know if thats a sign of a bad winter. I think thats a sign that we had a good spring."
