I don't know if this was said tongue in cheek, but the poor here ARE wealthier than most of the worlds population.

If you live in America, you are rich. My sister in law moved here from a third world country and her comment was, "Even the poor people are fat!"

Our economy is going thru a down cycle. a large part of the problem is government created.

I am mad about the government roll in this mess.

but that doesnt mean i think things are 1929 bad. that is just silly.
