Hope you read this...since I am on ignore....But I am not a trinitarian...not sure why you think that. But you came back with the classic UC OTP response point out faults and keep swinging those arm (fighting) as you fall to the floor in defeat. In my last post I just asked why you pick one verse out and ignore all the others. And again it is all under the OT old covenant. So your original response (posting the verse) was also a classic response given by UC OTP's. Pick a verse any verse and make it fit your idiology. By the way if my comments were not worth your time then why did you respond to me?

Also it seems that you are a guy that would argue if white is a color or just that absence of color. I respect you and your posts cause they are your opinion, however opinions and facts are not equal all the time. And your assement of tattoos could be right but based on your arguement (the bible verse) it is a weak arguement.

It was just a little too much huh? Yeah he coulda made some of us peacocks with all the vibrant colors. To me really tattoos are just an attempt to make a statement much like ornaments, dressing up (or down) in some people's minds. I like jewelry and that use to be a pride thing. I am really saying I don't think anyone getting ink injected into their skin is healthy.

maybe. I have read stories of people dying after getting a tattoo. But crazier things happen. Just yesterday here in Phoenix and police officer died after participating in a boxing match for charity against a PHX fireman. They had head gear and all and was actually a very safe situationm but he died. The fight was bad it was actually a little easy going but he died...freak situation. My point is that alot of things may not end up being healthy. but not all things are harmful. Tattoos being something that is not harmful.

Well I kind of believe the old testament holiness is the same as New testament.

Oh not really, Jesus expanded it to require much more than the old covenant.

Well I forgot God views change with the fads.

Sorry I'm throwing out the old testament it is not longer relevant for today.

Now where does the new testament say;

Cigarettes are a no no

I cant go to strip clubs

What happens in Vegas ....

Marijuana is bad

I cant play with my Ouija board

My palm reader is bad

I cant play Grand Theft Auto

Rap music is wrong

I shouldn't listen to secular music

The list goes on and on and on
You started out wrong by assuming the application of the holiness code in the OT is the same in the NT. You really should do some research on hermeneutics. And please don't put words into my mouth by building a straw man and then knocking it down and thinking you're saying something productive.
