True. But dealing with Iraq should have taken a back seat to dealing with the Taliban and al Queda. Iraq's become a distraction.

Bro...that's a loosing strategy. We need to get their economies up and interconnected with the global community. That way they're dependent upon peace for their survival. For example, China's economy would tank if we got into a major conflict with them. So would ours. lol

I know you don't believe this...but sometimes the pen is mightier than the sword.
I believe that underlying who we are, every country needs to know that we will and can exercise military power. This is what I want in a leader and McCain fits the bill.

I also believe that he will use the pen before he ever uses the sword, but the pen is heavier when they know he is not afraid, ever, to use the sword.

I do not find that in Obama.

I don't think that Iraq was a distraction and regardless of media coverage, Bin Laden met with Hussein, they worked together - Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia all embrace the "jihad" mentality and host the terrorists. They are all fair game as far as I am concerned.

But, yes - pen first - sword last. We need to not become dependent on foreign resources and if the Democrats had not blocked Bush several years ago, we would be up and running with our own oil, WHILE, we were pursuing other endeavors in the energy field.

So, I believe what Romney said, "Let's ground Gore's jet." He's no more an environmentalist than anyone else. He just runs the circuit making money. Laughable.
