I guess I'm used to speaking at rather small churches,when I speak so I don't worry about response.Since I'm more of a teacher I'm more worried about being able to be able to defend what I proclaim.

I usually tell the congregation that I can preach with or without "Amens, Praise the Lord's, or Hallelujaha!"

But I do preach much better with them.



And I preach much longer without them.
