Of course....they see it as a righteous cause. I don't expect them to look at it objectively. I don't expect them to see the writing on the wall. They're like women in abusive relationships. The Republicans brow beat them by manipulating their convictions every election cycle over and over and over and over. When we say, "Look, the Republicans are just using you.", like an abused woman they say, "But they love me, eventually things will change. I believe in them. They're really good people. Times are just difficult." It's a "syndrome" not a "cause".

If Belgium can do it we can too. If the conservatives will just get out of the way with their misguided notions of banning abortion and making it disappear.

God knows better than we do that merely banning abortion isn't going to make it go away. God knows better than we do that Belgium and other westernized countries have policies that have significantly reduced abortion though it's still legal. The Republicans have you fighting an endless battle you can't win hoping you'll be the endless Republican voter who will not waver.

Abortion was largely illegal in Peru and the abortion rate was a steady 99 per ever 1000 pregnancies. Belgium has legal abortion but social policies that has reduced the abortion rate per every 1000 pregnancies to about 8. Which country do you believe God is most pleased with?

Why don't you just speak the simple and plain truth here: From your own words it's obvious...If the choice was left up to you, you wouldn't ban abortions. Plain and simple.

Nothing more needs to be said, Aquila.
Thanks for your response.
Good night.
You're twisting my words TRFrance. I emphasized that I would follow suit with nations like Belgium who have actually reduced the abortion rate. I firmly believe America is capable of having the lowest abortion rate in the world, even without banning abortion. But history and the facts prove that Muslim and heavily Catholic countries that have banned abortion still have extremely high abortion rates....and that's based primarily on maternal morbidity. So if you think merely banning abortion will make it disappear....you're seriously uninformed.
