Right. Koop seems a side issue.
What stood out to me is:

His statement doesn't seem to make sense. First he (Monegan) says no one asked him to fire Wooten, then he says what someone said was, "We don't want Wooten representing our troops."
Sound a little fishy with Monegan and Wooten, IMO.
