You may think that it is funny, but it is also true.

No, I don't agree. Do my kids act like don't think outside of this little box you are referring to? Also, I could tell you some stories about homeschooled children I have known personally, that turned out to be dumb as a box of rocks and lucky to be working at McDonald's. You guys are fortunate in that Sister OW is as good with the homeschooling as she's been. Momma's been lookin out for James on that homeschooling thing. As much as I love my children, there ain't no way I could homeschool them. It's been hard enough to put my daughter through this summer program I have her on. I wouldn't want to be responsible for all of their education. I'm glad that we've got good schools around here.

Re: Where Are The Pastors Here?
When I was evangelising, we homeschooled our kids. My son was in 1st grade. The next year, when they went into public school they said he was reading on 3rd grade level. I like homeschooling if both teacher and student are disciplined enough to focus on studies. What I didn't like (in our case) was that they didn't have the interaction with kids on their level.

It musta been the Lord who stopped me, Sister, 'cause I was ready to put on my headset and let my fingers do the walkin! Hehehehehehe! Thank you, Jesus, for saving me from imminent death at the hands of an angry apostolic woman I know would immediately repent right after she bashed my big head in for waking her up on a work night because her husband was an hour behind in posting on AFF and I was feeling bad for him that he's stuck with DSL when I know good and well you are more than able to hear our prayers that the phone or cable company would hurry up and get high speed internet access to their house so they could be like the rest of us in your name amen!

Now AG, which poster would that be? Since I posted before you, I must make the assumption is that you were speaking in reference to me. And, is my assumption is correct, I would have to say that your assumption is correct as well.
Have you posted something nice on NEW THREAD yet? I assume you did. And I assume you better! (Sorry, just being a little grumpy tonight!) I wanna a Wendy's Hamburger!

You don't have to agree, but you know that James is smarter than most teenagers and some adults too.

I am sure that they do.

I am sure that you can, but statistically speaking, homeschoolers do better than public school students.
BTW, some people shouldn't homeschool their kids, because they are dumb as rocks.

James was smart before he was homeschooled though. When he was in the fourth or fifth grade, he tested at 10th and 12th grade level. Now, his level would be higher than that and he gets an education that will help him in his adult life.
