2. Ron, your attitude really reeks on this thread. I cannot believe you would defend such nonsense. It makes me very angry that they would attack Scott in this manner. Scott is a man of integrity, and their words were cruel, cutting and downright vitriolic.

3. If the posters who wrote the junk about Sherri and Eddie really feel they are backslidden, why don't they pray for them instead of using their supposed backslidden state as a weapon against Scott. As if he is in any way responsible for the choices his siblings make?
I am not defending anyone, while I personally do not know Bro Scott Graham I have great respect for him.

If you drew that reference, I am sorry.

As for my attitude, well, maybe you are right, I will go and ask God to straighten it out.

I agree. I think.

Miss Bratt - we should stand up and say something when we see or hear the things that the blogger revealed. Standing up to bullies is imperative if there is ever to be peace on the playground.

And rrford - No, standing up to a bully isn't the moral equivalence of being a bully yourself. There's a difference. If you have never found the difference then I feel sorry for you.

If you want to question my integrity and honesty just do so and without innunedo and inane questions.

I assure you I am not even remotely trying to protect the members of that Forum. As a matter of a fact, I was booted from that Forum.

It saddens me that you cannot see that my call was for genuine Christianity. As Miss Brattified said "What has happened to us?" Especially if you and others want to cast apsersions on my sincere appeal. Sorry you dind't read it that way. I will sleep well tonight knowing that I know my heart and waht my real intent was.

Oh, never mind. 2+2 now equals 5. Say it again, 2+2=5. Say it again, 2+2 =4! No dummie! 5!!
And you think that that point is central to the issue at hand....how and why?

To me, this whole "closed forum" point you're harping on is simply serving as a red herring.

Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto

Without being there during the discussion, I can only look at what was presented by someone that was willing to break rules and take posts written on a closed forum for ministers only, and make them public.

Does that excuse the puke that was posted. No. But some things are not meant for public consumption. And I would prefer not to acquire a taste for puke, whether it is mine, or someone else's. So I will just lurk on this one from the sidelines, and watch out for any flying vomit.

There's nothing pretty about any of it, and quite frankly, this forum is no different than the one illustrated in the shared blog, as far as similar dynamics go.

Too bad we have decided to measure one another by mustaches, tv, skirt length, sleeves, or a lack thereof, instead of by Biblical measures.

Galatians 5:22-26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ...Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law....And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit...Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Matthew 5:46-48 "For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? ...And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? ...Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

I John 4:20-21
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? ...And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."

I don't say shame on KimberlyS; I say shame on all of us.
Amen, a bulls eye.

God help us all.

Yes, it is.

All we have done is defend Scott, Sherri and Eddie.

Look, I don't even agree with Eddie and Sherri's theology, but I think they were maligned by these men.

To be honest with you, I think it's despicable the way these men run to their private conclaves and spew out bile. Reminds me of cockroaches running from the light.

Perhaps to you. It was sincere on my part. And frankly, I am weary of justifying it. Perhapsd you folks should consider how such posts sound when you throw them out there.
