Re: R the baptisms on the "Bam!!..thread acceptabl
Interestingly enough this video was not posted by a Jesus Name One God Apostolic ...
but rather a Trinitarian who does not believe in baptismal regeneration or that phrasology is what effectuates sin remission
... Which should give pause to the fact that no matter the view of what a properly administered baptism should look like or sound like ... there are inherent
problems here w/ this masquerade by TB that tramples on the the sacrifice and blood of the Worthy Lamb of God
Even Elder Epley insists that the one person baptized with the words in Jesus name is a mockery. How ironic that Trinitarians agree w/ you, Elder ...
including those baptized in the name of the Father, Son and BAM!!!
Notwithstanding, the problem here is not that the blood of Jesus is not being effectuated through a properly administered baptism but rather the sacrilege
demonstrated by the baptizer to a solemn Christian ritual that is supposed to be a witness and identification of the Gospel ... HIS DEATH, HIS BURIAL AND HIS
RESURRECTION.
This would be just as reprehensible, irreverent and horrific if he administered the Lord's Supper in like manner ... saying that the bread represents BAM ... and the
wine ... BAM!!!
He has the same spirit and error of those who see the name of Jesus Christ as simply an abracadabra ....
What's also interesting is to hear TB say that there is anointing in the water OR FIRE IN THE TUB ... sounds almost like ...????
He also dunks some more than once ... which was the basis of McAllister's sermon at Arroyo Seco.
The things of God are Holy ... His commandments ... all of them including baptism are holy ....
baptism is into Christ ... it signifies what He's done ... this seems to be about TB and showmanship at least on his end .... and not the authority and power
given by Jesus to baptize in His person, or Name.
We are not baptized to travel... leave self in the water .... etc ... it is a sign of repentance as the video indicated ... it does symbollically represent
the washing of our sins.
That being said ... is a baptism in the name of Jesus less efficacious or less a confession of the true believer if ... the preacher administering is living
in sin ... adultery .... let's say?
Would we tell a true believer that their baptism needs a mulligan, a do over, because of the baptizer's condition if it was properly in administered by our
one of licensed ministers in our our churches that practices our traditions?

I have to agree with Steve here. After watching the videos of this guy and different ones they way they act is more like demon possession than like a move of God. I stated elsewhere that I was in a mental hospital once, and again, not as a patient, but that is they way those people acted. They made crazy noises, shook, looked fearful, etc, etc....
There is something seriously not right with these people.
Call me crazy but when I have heard people around the world speak in tongues and there is something familar about it when you hear it no matter what the native language is. This stuff they were saying is strange. Someone mentioned strange fire being offered. The men in the Bible that offered strange fire died because of it.
