You wouldn't believe how much love people have for paneled walls. In this case the building only reflected the spiritual state of the people, old, dead and content to stay in that state.
Keith, if I were still preaching, I'd preach a message entitled "In love with paneled walls"!

This really struck a chord with me, as I've experienced some of the same things you have, I'm sure.

Was that town in Laurel?

I have about 60-70 preaching tapes of Br. Bean. Some are very good quality.

Brother Epley can give you the history. but that was not regular sermon. It was a warning from God.

Mark someone posted a thread here about it. there was sin in the church and he pretty much dealt with it. It seems (and I may be speaking out of turn) but it seems the church didnt really repent and it was distroyed in time. At least from what it was.

Wow, so many references here to Laurel, MS. My mom was from Mt. Olive.
