Re: Y'all have a happy 4th!
We befriended a young man (around 30 years old) at the golf course on July 4th!. Mrs. Pianoman and I were golfing with my son-in-law which made a threesome. We were joined before tee time by this young man who was by himself and asked if he could join us.
It turns out that he is very athletic as he was the star quarterback for ETSU's football team in East Tennessee a few years back.
Anyway, he and his wife recently moved to Nashville and don't really know anybody outside of their jobs. My SIL and him really hit it off! (My SIL was a star pitcher at MTSU a few years back)
To make a long story short, we asked if he had found a church since they moved to Nashville. It turns out that he got burned out on church when he was in high school. The youth leader, whom he really admired, had an affair with a girl and was kicked out of the church. The youth leader was a mentor to him and he became disillusioned with church.
He and his wife are expecting a baby in November and have been talking about finding a good church to raise their child in. They are supposed to sit with us a week from this Sunday at church!

So it even takes gimmicks like golf to lure people to come to a false church??
J/K my friend. That sounds awesome!

I guess what I'm saying is that God direct our paths. God will send someone our way from time to time that we can influence into truth. It may come when you least expect it, so we need to always have our game face on!
We didn't get into oneness vs trinity doctrine or any other DEEP subjects. We just tried to be a friend and use wisdom to get his family to attend our church.
Hopefully, when he attends church the Lord will deal with his heart. The deep questions will come with time! I feel that my job is to make the soil fertile, so when the seed is planted, it will flourish!

Re: Y'all have a happy 4th!
I'm in Branson this weekend and the BIG fireworks were everywhere last night.
My SIL has a house on the high on a mountian that offered us a perfect spot to watch the sky lighting up all around Branson and Hollister!
