I have been doing this every morning and night since Saturday
I love to cook and my SIL is very helpful in the kitchen as well. Plus she picked my greens while I mowed the backyard.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?
Blu...Yes, in a twirl .... Franklinton High School
We went to Bonefish, Albasha, Louisiana Lagniappe, Casa Maria!
Before I leave we are planning Galatoire's and Zea's restaurants... wish my dh could be here to enjoy all this fun and food.
Told Sis and BIL, they treat me so good ... we might just move in.
Before getting here, I stopped in Alexandria to stay w/ my niece and her husband and they took me out to places too... lolo I only get here once or twice and year.
Enjoy Shreveport!

Aint it the truth? Lots of mexican restuarants here too; some are americanized but many are the real deal! In our fair city we have approx 11% latino population ...therefore,lots of good mexican food.

After working 8 hrs, came home and actually cooked. (lol)
We had baked salmon, peas and a tossed salad.

Sounds like a nice celebration!
Last Sat was our 39th Anniversary...and I had the weekend off!!! (one weekend off a month)
The condensed version: We went out for breakfast and read the Sat paper; went to a park near the riverfront and sat in the shade with a book and relaxed beside the lake; took a short ride in a large wooden boat (it's a small man made lake) >>the locals are allowed to play tourist too!!
We got home about 20 min before a thunderstorm moved in.
We were going to go out for dinner as well but we were too tired..  ;
The sad reality of aging......
