Well, if you plan on being a pastor someday, you are going to have to learn how to explain things to people, especially when it comes to your beliefs. Telling people, "It's in the Bible. Study it out for yourself", isn't gonna work when pastoring.

I had to take her to the ER at that point. It turned out that both her legs were broken.
Believe me when I tell you that I felt like I had let God down by going to see that doctor. It wasn't until somewhere around the middle of all that we had been going through with getting her legs healed up that I realized that I hadn't let God down and He hadn't let me down either. My faith was in Him through the whole thing, from start to finish.
With that said, it still doesn't change the fact that our first choice when it comes to our health should be Jesus; not science, not medicine, not anything but the Lord. Our first thought needs to be towards him and not the doctors. That is not to say not to go to the doctor, mind you. It's just to say that our trust needs to be in Jesus before the doctors. Are you getting where I am coming from?

I am quite the skeptic when it comes to medication. Let me admit I am not one to take medication for anything except for anti-biotic or steroid here and there for extreme cases but it has nothing to do with my faith.
With every single chemical you put into your body you change it's composition, your body is in a constant state of homeostasis and when you change that by taking a pain killer you set yourself up for other things.
My freshman year in high school I had a bad accident, some kids from another local high school broke their legs in a car accident (because they had stolen a car and were in a high speed chase), when the femur is fractured it bleeds so it is an emergency surgery, so I had to wait a long time before I could go into surgery (I had to have athletic surgery). The entire time I opted out of morphine and other medication because I didn't like the way it felt.
Now, all that being said I find nothing wrong with medication but I do see a lot of problems caused by the over use of it. But again the Bible speaks of doing all in moderation. The secular trend, the feminization, all these issues are caused by an excess of certain natural chemicals.
I just find it ridiculous that people try and rationalize that medication is wrong when it is clear that it is not, the abuse or over use is just as bad as any excessive behavior but there is no Biblical precedent to decisively declare medication unbiblical, and frankly I think it is wrong to do so. You can't just go around saying the Bible says something is wrong when there is no proof that it does, IMO that is just as bad as adding to the Bible.

Bro,
The Lord gave me a revelation about something. Luke was a physician that went with Paul and diagnosed the illnesses and Paul prayed for them and they were healed.
BTW, It would be futile to tell people the truth when they don't want it. i would rather have people that are hungry for the Word and those are the ones that will hear it.

Well, that settles it, then. Scripture isn't needed.

Even if he is right, since the WORD does not say so, it can NOT be presented as doctrine.

It is based on scripture, so if you want to see it for yourself, then study them.

The truth would be fine to tell, I find your argument just as ridiculous as global warming.
I would agree with you if what you were saying was it is possible, but you are being completely rigid in stating that this is the only possibility, based on scripture that uses a word that clearly has an ambiguous meaning.
You don't acknowledge it could have multiple meanings:
1) the use or the administering of drugs
2) poisoning
3) sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it
4) metaph. the deceptions and seductions of idolatry
The simple fact that the translators used witchcraft indicates that they even thought it wasn't referring to the administration of medication.
The fact that you even refuse to confront this fact proves you are not in search of truth, but you want to keep propagating an unsupportable stance. If you would actually confront the opposition then I would give you more credit.
But instead you indirectly bash those that actually take a stance that it is possible but unlikely.
