No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

I have been around the UPCI for my entire life, and I can tell you that I have heard GREATLY exaggerated reports from many different "reputable" sources. You are correct in that the UPC and other ministerial organizations have politics which STINK!!!!! However, I do not feel this is the place to air it out, on a forum which has several former UPCI ministers and such. If the UPC ministers on here have a problem with the UPCI, then they need to talk to the "powers that be" or get out.
