Re: Witchcraft = medication

My opinion is even in areas outside of pharmacology, witchcraft and sorcery today use some of the same things we use everyday besides medicine. It's not what you use so much as how and why it is used. And who gets the praise and glory when someone is healed through whatever means. Good and evil ring a bell? And no I am not debating the passage used.

its a car. the fact that it spent time in the land of idiots doesnt matter.

and who cares what some sorcerer did in 3AD? the guy down at Phiser working on a cure for cancer has no relation!

thats just silly thinking. and its why you have such a hard time with Christmas.

you make too many of these silly connections.

Hey Rico:

So what is your point here? You are saying that you do think it has roots in witchcraft, but you take them anyway? Either you don't really think that, and you are just stirring the pot , or you do really think that and you are blatantly embracing witchcraft. Which is it?

This is really not to defend Rico! Rico is not dumb. Being Christians as we are, right??? We should make every effort to post without insults! Insults are the world's way of manipulation. Isn't being a follower of Jesus founded with love???

Re: Witchcraft = medication

Look on the bright side all of you who are popping your daily dose of "witchcraft"...

My father is a Christian Science Practioner. So it wasn't just wrong to take medicine, it was wrong to even be sick in the first place.

Is it interesting about meds. This past week I have prayed for two bi-polar friends. I told my husband how I think their condition is related to over medicating or mixing meds. In fact, one was committed to a psych ward for a couple of weeks. She said nothing is wrong w/ her and she is none stop talk. When she got out of the hospital, she said my shrink finally allowed me to get back on my fluid pills and hearing meds ???? She needs to get off some of those meds IMHO... She takes heart, blood pressure and on and on meds... I truly believe with less medication they would not have a bi polar condition.

IMHO, certain meds can contribute to evil in ones life. It is no "poppycock"! Meds are basically a mask or bandaid most of the time.
I agree with Ferd. Be careful about recommending others take this or that medication, or worse, stop taking something their doctor has prescribed for them.

A member of my husband's family DIED because a well-meaning preacher recommended he stop taking the drugs needed to control his diabetes. He flushed them down the toilet. Unfortunately, God had not healed him.

We love Rico!

But after all these years we have discovered that Rico (Like most of the posters here at AFF) has a fluctuating I.Q.

At times it rises to near genius proportions, while othertimes is plummets to a near vegetative state
