I have told the story before about how many years ago when we were still UPC my wife and I need to run to the store while visiting my mom in a smal town in Louisiana.

My wife had on sweat pants and top and at first said she couldn't go because someone might see her.

I told her to get real, that who in the UPC world were we going to run into in 5 minutes in a TG&Y in this little town!

The instant we walked in we ran into a major young UPC preacher and his wife!

LOL!

There are several here who know what I'm talking about.

I was pot stirring a couple years ago. Very few knew it was me, and of course, admin knew.

Last year, I told Barb about it and her jaw about dropped on the restaurant floor. She had no idea and she hated the guy! LOL! She's vengeful, I tell ya! Hahaha!

Are you trying to convince us that you have a Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) from Urshan School of Theology?

Re: Confession

I don't mind posters using an alias to post from. Or having several ID's to post from, as long as they aren't trying to be somebody they are not.

But posers irritate me!!! gggrrrrrr....

THOSE are the people who are truly lying and I find it very hard to summon up any kind of respect for them.

How do you really feel about it?

I wish you would open up and share.

I do not often feel quilty, though I do love quilts and sometimes wish I had the time and patience, as well as supplies, to learn how to make them.

I have always had this thing about the forum being honest discourse. I personally find the idea of creating a new screen name and pretending to be a new poster, someone who you are not, to be just lying.
Well, I certainly did not create a new name to pretend to be a new poster. If anyone were to ask who I am I would certainly tell them, though for fun I may make a game of how I were to reveal who I am. I know two people here know who I am already.

It has been a very long time since I have spent any time posting at any forum and wanted to just start fresh and leave what was related to some certain negative memories and experiences I had with that name behind, completely disassociating myself.

I guess the bottom line is that messing with the truth, even when it is a joke, affects other people and could damage your credibility.
Had you not confessed no one would have really known and your credibility would have remained intact!

Joking aside, no one would hold that against you, CC. To know you is to love you...
