I know that this thread is over a month old but if you go to Suber's church web page (I think it is new) it would seem that he has leanings towards being a one stepper (http://faithtabernacleshreveport.org...nt/view/16/35/). Or it could be that the Bishop of the church has those leanings and Bro. Suber and he don't really see a big difference.
I guess I'd be considered a '3-stepper'
I don't see what's wrong with his doctrinal statement...
what am I missing?
I see repentance
water baptism
Holy Ghost in-filling
By the way I left the movement 7 yrs ago and I am not backsliden. Maybe it is not backsliding when one stops preaching some of the 20th century traditions of men.
I love hearing stories like this. We have so much power in God, but few of us actually walk in that power, or even have a strong desire to. I believe God is using people like J Suber to teach and instill faith in His people, to believe Him for what He said He would do, as He prepares His church to go to the next level.
If we spent half as much time talking about standards and using that same time and energy teaching and preaching about the gifts of the Spirit, the Apostolic church would be at a whole other level right now.
I'm in total agreement , you're on target!

Traditionally 3 steppers put those three things in a context. That context being they are what salvation consists of.
You know that! I think you are just being coy. I made the statement that it was ambigous and could be taken either way. It is just not common for 3 steppers to be ambigous. I think you would have to agree.
