It was Sunday afternoon when a friend of mine sent me an email with a link to a website giving initial reports of the accident. At that time the news was not being carried by major media and it was even reported that her driver had been killed as well.

They were the ones that changed the "real or rumor" to "weather related".

I am not in the habit of starting rumors... when I posted it was all very new "news" and no one was certain of the details.

FYI

I certainly didn't mean to come across as calling you a gossip or such.

My point is. I am HERE. I know what the weather was like. I know it is a possibility that it could have been a branch or something in the road.

I can't even get my point across without sounding hateful so I won't try..lol

Yes--the focus should be on her death. I am sorry to hear of it.

I just know PERSONALLY what the weather was like that night. I see the turmoil of it---I wouldnt catagorize her accident as weather related compared to what I have seen this weekend.

Does anybody remember a solo album that Donny McGuire put out in the late 70's - early 80's?

I had it and it was one of my favorite records back then, and then I loaned it to a friend and he got scratches all over it.

Hmmm...just looked at the songs on here, and Dottie sings, I'm So Glad I've Got A Better Place To Go.

The Gospel Echos Trio sing two songs...man, I've haven't listened to this in ages...

Not to change the subject or anything...

I just realized I never had commented on the reason for the thread. It is indeed a great tragedy and huge loss. Dottie Rambo wrote some incredibly beautiful songs, her legacy will live on in those songs.

Within 30 minutes of the actual happening, the story was front-page Yahoo! news.

That's a tribute to her. I was a little surprised that it made the Yahoo headlines.
