I also heard on the radio that it was National No Homework Day...I told my students this morning about both holidays...and told them that my celebration of one depending on how much they honored the other

Oh, I didn't have a choice! I was at work until 9:00 last night putting together thank you cards w/gift cards for all the 150 teachers at the High School that is across the street from our church!

We do something for them every year, last year we had a luncheon for them, but this year it surprised us, we are in the middle of a building program so everything is constantly in an uproar. My boss remembered on Friday, so I had to pull it all together Fri. afternoon and yesterday. I would have worked on it Sat. but we had a banquet and that took up most of the day!



Not to say that I mind, I just wish I had more time to put it together!

We had a Teacher's Appreciation service yesterday to honor our SS teachers. The children really outdid themselves.

She is the Dept. Head of Business & Technology at the oldest English speaking High School in Canada. She teaches, Law, Math, English, Typing, and Entrepreneurship.
