Sorry it took so long to respond. Just got back a few hrs ago from having a epidural injection... No fun but I think this one might have worked! I am so out of it but hey... thats ok! They used something different to put me to sleep this time and when I woke up I told the nurse I felt out of it... she was like... well duh you just had surgery! I said yes I was aware of this but this time just seemed different... And the stuff they put in my iv to put me to sleep this time hurttttttttttt going in and when I had the one done a month ago I felt nothing...
Oh well its over and God willing this will be the last one for a while! Now if I didnt have such a loving hubby forcing me to stay in bed for the 3 days I am supposed to be in bed... I could actually have a life LOL

Thanks He always wanted to play football and had started to when he was in public school. He went to our church school and we do not have a football team. He also had asthma until being healed of it this past winter. So sports didnt happen much. He started at the school in November as the basketball team mgr. because he couldnt play. He ended up playing in the finals since his dr declared his asthma totally gone and doing very well. He loves it and plans to be an active part of the team next school year!
As for him being a looker. Yep I agree but I just wish he would get him a girlfriend here and be done with all these long distance relationships he seems to always be in... His last girlfriend they met at youth camp in Oklahoma... and were together for 2 yrs and then she got out of church and he decided she just wasnt right for him.... then gets him another girlfriend at Tx HYC... who lives nearly half a country away! LOL... He said sorry mom... I keep forgetting Tx is such a big state LOL
Oh forgot to add... his real dad is 6 ft 10 so the poor kid didnt have a chance!

LOL.... You know me too well! Yep... He even took the kids to firewheel (a mall right down the road) and then tried to get to applebees to get dinner and got lost and I told him I could ride w him to pick them up and he said nope.. I will go and gracefully get lost again if I have to but you are NOT getting out of bed LOL..
Yep.. the drama never ends but thats ok... I am getting used to it!
They think this could be the last procedure if not... then we head off to majo surgery next... This is the last attempt at temp fix/pain mgmt. Next is surgery ... But I think this might have done the trick... God willing! I feel a lot better I am just hurting real bad but this is par.. what it does is they inject the cortizone and then it has to like crystalize and then it will start working type thing.. and they also blocked a couple of specific nerves so..... we shall see... He said I should see results by Monday... but I already see some.. but as he said and I know from experience.. these are only superficial as its mostly resulting from the anesthesia right now and then the cort. kicks in.

Thanks! Me too... It really seems to have worked this time. I am still out of it kinda but I do notice a big difference... the dr is awesome and I really trust him... when he came in my room the other day he asked me how I felt... pain was down to about a 3 by then and he was nearly jumping he said... yep I think it worked... He is a very distinguished man but we had been fighting tooth and nail to find the missing link for what was going to work.... and we were all so relieved to think this is it!

Really busy! Our oldest son is graduating this year. We're way behind time-wise. But we're in the middle of making visits to colleges so he can decide where he wants to go. As of right now, I think he's leaning very strongly to a school called Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. It's a relatively small school (4000 students). But they offer the program he wants (computer science degree with a sub-specialty in video and game animation technology)
We made the trip last Friday to look at Shawnee. Justin really liked it alot. The other school he's interested in is in Flint, Michigan. (Baker College).
Some of where he goes will depend on the financial package that Shawnee offers. So I guess we'll see.............

This is one of his proofs of his school pics I got yesterday. They are all so good I cant decided which one to get so I am just gonna have to get them all I guess LOL

AG, what a nice looking son! That's a GREAT picture! I understand why you'd want to get them all if they are all this good!
And I'm glad to hear that the treatment seems to be working. If God can heal your son's asthma, he can also heal your back Let's pray for that, ok?
