I remember gas being .25 a gallon when I was a child!!!!
The first car I bought I don't remember the total cost but my monthly payments were $80 per month.
My first paycheck after I graduated from college was $475 per month. I rented an apt, paid for my car and all the other expenses with that $475.
I can remember McDonald hamburgers costing .25 each.
I can remember .05 cokes, and candy bars. Yes, I am old!!!!!

I remember paying $.25 for a comic book about 1976.

I remember $.25 cents for a pack of Baseball cards about 1976.

Gas was maybe $.55 cents.

We pay more in taxes on gas today than my mom would pay for gas when I was a kid.

So when my son is 43 in 25 years gas would be around $17.00 a gallon.

People will be making 100K working at McDonalds.

There will no longer be cash exchanged.
