Dan,

How senseless this was. I was sickened by the news. Spoke to Sis. Hennigan this morning and she relayed the news, she was noticeably and understandably shaken by it. We are in prayer for the entire church family as well as the Cole family. Brent was one of the best bass players I have ever heard. Played for Allstate back in the day...so sad!

Re: Urgent Prayer Request.

We heard about this this morning. It has affected many in our church since he used to work at Brookshire's.

We will continue to pray for the families involved.

He was not in a high crime area in the city. The news covered the shooting in the 6 oclock news. We are continuing to pray for the family. This is sooo sad.

Re: Urgent Prayer Request.

Great Lord God, Comforter and Peace Speaker,

We come humbly yet boldly, to Your Throne of Grace and ask for

peace and comfort for the family of this dear man. And mercy for the

one who committed this crime. Lord, we ask that somehow some good

would come out of this tragedy, for You know how to turn that which

the enemy meant for evil, and You can mean for good, in JESUS NAME!!

We trust You, Lord! Thank You for Who You are!

There are so many "crazies" out there!!! May God have mercy upon this family!!!

This is so shocking! This is the only news I could find on-line.

As Blubayou stated this was not a bad area of BR.

Praying for this family.

Re: Urgent Prayer Request.

AG- I know saying that this is not a high crime area of the city does not make this horrible crime any different, I guess I am just thinking out loud and trying to understand what happened. I am so saddened by this loss and frustrated at the waste.
