I can see this being an issue for those that lived another life style, then were saved. I'm sure there's a lot of "trying to figure out" what's right and what's wrong.
And you are right, who do you talk to about that? There needs to be someone in the church you can feel comfortable discussing these issues with.

True. You sure can't talk to your husband. You'd have to share things that are none of his business and like mine, jealous of anyone that I might have known 25 years ago. lol Not good.
So, on my part, I found out what it was like to have someone really love you. I don't believe, many, without the Holy Ghost can actually know what love is.
When you find that out - as I told my son - "If you treat a woman right she will generally do whatever you want." He's like, "Thanks, mom!!!"
Maybe I should have waited to tell him that AFTER he was married.

Re: What is Wrong With This Picture?
I was a member of a very conservative Pentecostal church. The Pastors wife of the church took it upon herself to teach a series of classes just for the married ladies. Her lessons were basically to have sex with your husband as much as he needed it, even if it was every night/day. We were encouraged to be alawys in the "seducing" mode when it came to our relationship. We were told to never refuse our husbands desire.
I felt a victim of this class. I didn't want to be apart of it. But in that setting if you didn't attend the class you would be questioned and then told it was disrespectful to the pastors wife not to attend. If you decided not to go to the classes after the rebuke, you would be in rebellion.
