Since when is a conservative one who casts harsh judgement on others?
i have a MAJOR problem with it. Why are all of you saying " she may have repented since then." How ridiculous is that? who are you or I to say what someone else should have to repent over. That is almost as bad as the things melody originally said. It is still passing judgement on another person.

You really do seem to be poles apart in methods and delivery, though, and personality also, if reading on the internet tells me anything.

I think I could trust you both in the leadership you have. You both seem to be great people!

I have always thought of Coonskinner and Monkeyman as long lost brothers seperated at birth by race, time, distance, birth parents, circumstances, and enviroment. Other than that they are identical!

its bad to suggest our youth strive for holiness AND truth?
it is bad to recognize youth across the globe are struggling to stand firm in their convictions.
throughout scripture those that stood strong in the face of adversity are remembered.

I betcha a dollar that a self-righteous, judging spirit gets more punishment than a sleeveless dress (or a gambler).

self righteous, is that what you gleaned, and it is okay for you to make an accusation like that but
to call into question inappropriate clothing? is not okay?

Clothing that we try and get out new converts out of?
So what would YOU suggest I tell our young ladies?

That clothing isn't an issue and God really doesn't care how you dress?
Go ahead and ............

Honestly, I want what your reply as to how you would respond?

This is the best quote I've head so far about this whole mess! I come from a very conservative church, but what is being gained by further segmenting Pentecost. My two cents!

That reminds me of a few years back, my teenage daughter had gone with the music department of our church to a music conference.

She called me from the conference just scandalized because the girls in the college choir were dressing in a manner that didn't completely line up with our church standards.

I told her "Hold up sister, you mean to tell me that those girls are up there on the platform, worshiping God? And you are sitting in the audience criticizing them? If God were to come right now, who do you think would be right before him?"

She called me back later and thanked me for helping her get her spirit right.
