Interesting. The speculation I have been privy to has pointed to another poster whose initials are not DB.

I don't know - I ain't smart enough to figger them things.

Thanks skinner, I am flattered.

Unfortunately, I do not know the Big Leaders well enough to know the names of their daughters and and sons-in-law, didn't know Godairs were from MO, and who is Bro Sargant?

Whoever wrote that piece has been viwing these people up close and personal for quite a while.

At least this is settled. Mark said it had to be someone much closer probably on the West Coast. Thank you Deacon.

Man skinner I forgot all about that post about the GS and potential candidates. Did you save that one? I would like to read it again! You've got a great memory. Have you ever thought about getting a job with the CIA or NSA or some other covert government agency?

BTW---thanks for coming to Memphis and getting together with the backslidden ex-UPCers and failing to inform me that you were in town. I live three minutes from that Cracker Barrell!

I seriously doubted the whole bunch's judgment when they chose to go to Cracker Barrell (which I like) instead of Houstons there are Cracker Barrells all over the country but Houstons are few and far between.

Those going to Tulsa call Hazelwood - Hollywood.

Those who said yes in Tampa call Hazelwood - Revivalwood

What "wood" Jesus say about Hazelwood?

I know I spelt it wrong!

That was a pretty insightful piece back yonder...the one on FCF.

As for getting together with Renda and Sherri and not calling you, "I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel...they that are whole need not a physician."

No, actually, my wife and the gals set that one up. I would have been happy for you to have come too.

Next time I'll be sure and get in touch.

My bad........about the lunch.

However, it was the Cracker Barrel on Hacks Cross off 385 - not the one close to you.

Bro. E, they were pressed for time and we had to meet at a location on their way to MS, so Houston's would have been out of the way for them. Maybe next time they are coming through we could make that happen and include Deacon!

Thanks for straightening out the rumor.........................I knew it wasn't you all along!

Get over it! It is what it is. I think Jesus is fully capable of accomplishing His will and building His Kingdom however He chooses and it can be accomplished through BOTH the UPC and the WPF. Some are acting like Samuel mourning over Saul. How long will you weep for Saul? Go get up fill your horn with oil---there's a new king to anoint!

Get busy about the Kingdom's business and quit whining about who did what to whom. They voted their conscience we voted ours. The vote went one way and not the other. Some feel they need to leave others are fine with the way things are.

There is no need to demonize either side. Leave Tampa alone and leave Tulsa alone. God is in control. The Gospel will be preached to the whole world. Souls will still be saved. The rapture is still going to happen.

The UPCI doesn't need a "healer". We've got all the healer we need. Jesus is still with us. I hope and pray Jesus is still with WPF. Time will tell. BUT PLEASE---GET OVER TAMPA!!!!!!

It is so last September.
Amen and Amen!!

(I defended these men's right to leave and organize around their conscience but lately I have been disturbed by the apearant rampant prosletyzing and feel that is unethical and deserves criticism. It is one thing to leave and form or join another org. but quite another to try and destroy the one you are leaving by stealing it's members)

You are right on the money! Nashville lost our Houston's that was in West End when their lease ran out and they chose to close rather than relocate. Arghhh!!!

Houston's has the best salads and homemade salad dressing in the world not to mention some good ribs and other food. Oh, and don't forget that cheese bread.

Now you have gone and made me hungry for a restaurant I can't go to!
