We can mimick sounds that emminate from the hearts of the original composers. Those sounds are almost identical to the sounds of the original composer, note for note as naturally pure as the original. Notice that I said "almost."
But, do we have our own song? Do we always mimick the sounds of others as in hymns. Hymns are indispensible in worship service but we need our own song. The song that sounds in our souls need to be sung. It is developed from the spiritual quality of the soul.
My song which is varied is usually developed in deep and earnest, heart rending prayer. Much of my prayer is interrupted (maybe not interreputed) by the song of my soul. I sense the presence of spirits in attendance to those sounds.
Lately, my preaching has taken on this motif. It seems that the more deeply I am involved in the preaching, the accordant sound will now and then erupt right in the middle of the preaching. It seems that I am swept away during this time of prayer and preaching too with the song of the soul. There are spirits standing near that are in harmony.
