Did Bro. Epley belittle anyones relationship with God? If he didn't who did?
You cannot answer the question about false doctrine, and you know it, and you know why.
My problem is that I have seen God called men refuting false doctrine and you seem to indicate in some of your posts that they don't have love.
Jesus and Paul both knew that love will not cover every situation. Jesus and Paul both fought false doctrine until they killed!
Much of the New Testament is written to oppose false doctrine.
There are great, God called men who fight that the devil of false doctrine every day. Let's respect them also!

If this is written to me... I doubt there is such a record... unless you are calling the founders of Oneness Pentecostalism and early leaders of the UPCI false teachers.

What is your question?
I do not know what you are talking about if you are talking to me.
I did not say anything evilof Brother Epley. He is my friend. If you took that I was speaking evil of the elder you are wrong.
I have spent my whole life defending the doctrine.

I have never heard Brother Epley be disrespectful and highly esteem him. I have no idea what you are speaking about. Even those on AFF that do not believe like he does has respect for him. He is a christian gentleman.

No one in particular...I was just stating I personally think many people have an experience with God and they are not oneness.
My brother whoever you are you must not know me well. My greatest joy is to see someone understand Oneness and baptism in Jesus name. In my life time I have had the honor of baptizing many trinity people in Jesus name. If I did not feel baptism in Jesus name was important why would spend my whole life making friends with them to help change them?

Sis. Alvear and Bro. Epley are both great people of God and they are very sincere in what they believe. They believe the oneness doctrine with everything in them. I respect them for that.
I wasn't trying to start an argument with this thread. I was just telling about something in our city that I felt like was honoring God and brought some unity in the Body. That doesn't mean we all agree; just that we are all praying for the same things. I do believe that God will answer those prayers!

The last lady to get up was a very well known Methodist lady in our city, and she wept as she talked about reaching the lost. She told how she had sat in a church for 20+ years, thinking she was saved because she was raised in the Bible belt and attended church faithfully. But when she went through a crisis, she realized that she had no real relationship with Jesus. She told how she had come to intimately know the Lord and walk with Him. Then she cried as she talked about all the lost in the city. I'm telling you, it was powerful!!!
I could never think that these precious people didn't have a valid relationship with God. They may not understand Him the way I do, but they do love Him!

Yes Sherri...you have spoken truth here. I am embarrassed to know we have people among us that don't even think God could hear the prayers of this women.
