This process takes months. How could they have received it in so little time?

I mean, if they JUST started in October, that would barely be three months.

Yes. It is possible. A good accountant who is experienced can get this accomplished in as littel as 60 days.

Further, as long as the corporation is set up and the 501c3 is in process then they can begin receiving funds as a non-profit.
