We had church last night and I talked to our Pastor. He was preaching for Johnny King three weeks ago and he said there were over 400 in service. My Pastor has flew to Canada and preached the last Fri, Sat and Sun there every month this year. Almost a fourth of the church there came in during his revivals. The Church in Calgary is a revival minided church. I don't know how many of you know Johnny King but if he leaves then the UPC has lost a great man.

I agree. I was in his district for 10 years and Bro. King is great man. He is revival minded.

If Bro. King leaves, the district will give local licenses to a couple of roughnecks home on leave from the oil rigs and claim that they have had growth in their ministerial constituency.

If anybody cares about this subject anymore, Idaho just held a special election on Saturday, 12/1, to replace the former DS who resigned in the wake of Res 4. Bro. Holt of Lewiston, ID was elected DS. The district is marching on, with the loss of only two ministers, one church.

There is no truth to the rumor of the "entire Idaho district" pulling out of the UPCI.
