I am so saddened by what is happening in the Apostolic Church. Organizations splitting over something they could not legislate anyway. Men crying foul of each other. I say, in respect, if someone wants to leave, allow them to go and bid them God speed. If they stay, hold them and wish them the same. But, we have forgotten that our salvation has come from the same stream, the same faith (at least, I hope so).

I am just glad to be a man serving Jesus. Card or no card, I am in fellowship with good men all over the spectrum.

As people know, much has changed in my life. The TV issue is one thing that has changed. You cannot tell a saint what to do and what not to do. What we can do is instill values and principles that will cause a saint to make wise and discerned decisions. Paul spoke of this in all of his epistles. The only times he went specific is when he saw the absolute need to do so.

How are you going to tell a preacher how to preach and where to spread the Gospel? I think the Lord would use TV in our modern times to proclaim truth. I do not believe He would be these TV pretenders, but I do believe that every available tool to use to spread the message, He would use.

well, when i was growing up, when we walked passed a TV set at a dept. store, we had to cover our eyes lol - i still agree that it promotes evil but our youth are watching TV on their IPODS now!!! I agree with you, the spiritual battle is the heart. as a whole, the peoples' hearts are far from God. you can legislate all you want. It wont bring a true consecration and revival.
