Well then, good morning to you, sir...

I certainly will be praying for you, and for the hearts of those receiving the Word.

God bless you, TB...

I had a wonderful day at the university in China. We were so warmly welcomed by the Vice-President and other faculty. I have been invited to stay on campus in the guest quarters on my next trip so that I can spend more time interacting with the students.

The university provided a board room for our private meeting with the 12 students we are sponsoring with bursaries this year. We enjoyed a fantastic introductory meeting and meal afterwards that I can't even describe here on this forum. It's like God knitting our hearts together with His love.

Tomorrow I will meet with four students for discussions that we pray will result in a baptism service. On Saturday the university is arranging a driver to take me back to the university so I can spend the afternoon fellowshipping with the students again. It's incredible how well I have been received.

Thank you for the great report...it's nothing short of the favor of God.

All I can say this morning is "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" with our first significant snowfall.

Can I hear D&J now say "Let it snow, let it snow ,let it snow"

In Flanders Fields
By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918)
Canadian Army
IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

No snow or rain in my part of N.B.,D+J are most welcome to all the snow they can handle.

Today is a day of Remembrance, certainly for me of a much loved uncle who lost his life in France.May God be with you all as you pause to remember your loved ones.

This being Remembrance Day I want to remember my father Lyman I. Curtis Sr. who served in WWII in North Africa, and now gone on to his eternal reward. I would normally do this in the Remembrance Day church service, so thanks for allowing me to do so here on AFF.

We had a beautiful Remembrance day service this morning as the youth read poems and some of the older folks testified of memories of family members who were involved in the military.

Triple E, I think it is so nice when a church takes time to remember. The younger generations need to be made aware of the sacrifices that have been made by preceding generations. And of course acknowledge the sacrifice of those who are being killed in presnet conflicts around the world.

Remembering those whose lives were taken because they were protecting ours.......

"If you are able, save for them a place inside of you
and save one backward glance when you are leaving
for the places they can no longer go.

Be not ashamed to say you loved them,
though you may or may not have always.
Take what they have taught you with their dying
and keep it with your own.

And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind."
