I can tell you why it bothered me...

she insinuated (RM) that STS side of the "rules" was biased..and there was MORE to the story...as if this kind of thing was JUSTIFIED...

then proceeds to say her HUSBAND told her that she had to log off...as if she can't make a decision for herself.

I guess I've just never been put in this position, but I'm still stuck on giving the pastor a key to my house and car...........unbelieveable!

Well, at least we all know she is submissive.......but, I'm pretty sure her husband has made a wise decision for her. He knows when she needs to just leave well enough alone and she doesn't.

Let's respect his wishes and leave her out of this thread. It's been a very good, helpful thread for those that have been through this junk!!!

and not going to the police after those preachers beat her son up???

I know my temper! I think i would have gone in there with a base ball bat and beat their brains out.

I would have at the very least called the Cops and pressed charges and caused the biggest stink in the media that town had ever seen! !!

I have never heard anything LIKE this before (I lived in Idaho for a while and it was plenty weird there)..going into your house and actually BEATING your child. Regardless of WHAT the child has done or not done this is so over the line that pastor is no different than David Koresh or Jim Jones.

Thank God you got out of it, I pray for you and your sons that they recover from all the abuse.

I do hope that God does use you to help anyone in this sort of situation and help them get out of it.

Thank you for sharing your story.

But, Thad you don't understand - - they are blinded by that leadership to what's right and what's wrong.

I'm just thankful, she's away from that mess now.
