daniel you are a good guy, and i dont always agree with pp, but he is right about this, if you have never witnessed the devastation that alcohol leaves in its wake then you can treat this subject lightly, but i have and i know it is serious, god bless you my brother, dt

No one disagrees ... at least from what I saw posted ... RW was sure to say that he could not understand how college students would revel at being sick after overconsumption ...

Apparently, this is a sore spot ... but to castigate us over what you midperceived is ... IMO ....RIDICULOUS.

I tend to agree with Pastor Poster here that the glorying of Alcoholism is entirely improper here. We are not talking one glass of wine with a steak, but the glory of excess that he speaks against.

My Father was a "recovering Alcoholic" and due to the selfism and glory of "higher power" and other psychobabble, I am not sure Dad was entirely right at the time of his untimely death 4 yrs ago.

Emotion on this one hits personally with me. My Grandfather was a drunk. Pure and simple. I am thankful I did not follow this tradition in my life.

Go on and turn another stone there Dan... you even stoop to think Apostolics can be drunkards and get away with it.

Disgusting.

"Ooh, I love margaritas!"

"Ooh, I love merlot!"

"Ooh, I drink eighteen beers sometimes!"

Some of you have become so "enlightened" your brain cells have evaporated.

Let's compartmentalize ... one thing is to get drunk ... and the other is alcoholism .... both are sins ... the latter having far-reaching consequences ... but no one was extolling the virtues of drunkeness .... rather stating what its effects are ... or could be.

I'm sorry someone stating they love margaritas or merlot is not a sin.

Perception?

The words were there in black and white.

There was hilarity on that thread. Joy. A whimsical reminiscance.

Again, if any of these folks ever crash one of my kids after drinking at Applebees or any other "restaurant" I will prosecute them with everything I've got.

Did you even read the whole thread?

I recommend you do.

Look Daniel, good Baptists have more morals than us.

Quite sad.
