What struck me as a bit peculiar was how you went from a young Christan girl's low neckline to people that would approve of Christians going to a nudest colony in just two paragraphs!
If you saw that same young lady in a mall, restaurant, wherever, would you have treated her differently by the attire that she wore knowing she was a pentecostal versus a baptist young lady? Would you be so fixated on details of dress that had nothing to do with the state of her soul and walk with the Lord that you would perhaps say something that would offend her faith?
We all make mistakes and choices we may regret not only in our youth, but throughout our lives. Isn't that what grace is all about? What the church needs today is a revelation of grace!
I am so glad that I have a friend in Jesus as well as a Father who loves me unconditionally and it is his grace that keeps me when I may not make the best decisions. It is very presumptuous to assume that a girl's salvation is in question over matters such as her neckline when we are not to judge on such matters. We can only be responsible to follow the leading of God's Spirit regarding our own safeguards of modesty.
You didn't answer the question either. I didn't ask about grace nor did I suggest anything about anyones salvation. This is just so typical of liberals and cons, you guys can't think straight to even answer a simple question.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
In a thread where a picture of a young lady was posted with a low nickline, revealing more cleavage than I think a Pentecostal lady should, it was basically argued that this was just fine.
My question to you is where do you draw the line? We have had one Pastor here, who shall be nickless, talk about running around in public in speedos. Is there a limit? Do you draw the line anywhere? Would you approve of Christians who go to nudest colonies? Is anything ok?
Whew, I don't come here enuf to know which nickless pastor thinks its ok to run around in public in speedos....but if I did, I'd sure mark it down to never go to his church.
I can not imagine God being pleased with any woman/girl walking around with the top part of her breasts exposed for all to see. The old test still works for me....if I bend over and have to hold my neckline.......it's too low.
If the top (blouse etc) is so tight and form fitting that I can see my bra lines....it's time to go a size bigger. Same test for a skirt...if it shows panty lines....up a size.
When I sit down and my skirt shows my knees....it's too short. (Heaven forbid to try to cross your legs)
It's all a matter of what's in a person's heart. If they desire to be carnally minded they will, if they desire true modesty, it'll show.

I noticed this too . . . though to be fair it went from low necklines to speedos, then to being in a nudest colony.

You must run out of ink a lot . . . marking churches that videotape services, this and probably other things . . .
I draw the line at what is perceived as modest in my neck of the woods.
Since the bible does NOT in anyway address pants as we know them in our culture and often refers to men in the bible being the one that wear "skirts", I draw no line whether a woman wears modest dress/skirts/ pants/culottes.
Since we know that men in the bible days hiked up thier long robes and tucked them in their girdles when they worked in the fields or when they had to run, exposing them hairy Hebrew legs, I draw no line at shorts on men other than a line some where around the knee.

I answered your question with the answer above on post # 7. I wonder how she would feel reading some people's comments regarding her cleaveage! None of us our so holy and perfect that we should be bashing someone to the point of being offensive, especially when it was directed at a young Apostolic girl...Just my opinion.
By the way, am I a liberal or a conservative? I need to be sure to order the correct button to wear to church this Sunday.

Talk about a slippery slope!
I stand corrected...I slipped right past the mention of the speedos.

I draw the line at modesty, pure and simple!! If I put on something that is immodest, the Holy Ghost in me automatically lets me know that I can't wear it. It's pretty simple, but not a list of man made rules.

That makes sense. The trouble starts, though, when the Holy Ghost tells different people different things!
