An Answer To Prayer-It Could Be Worse.

I got off work early today.
I only worked from 7-11 instead of 7-3 or later. Our company bought a new press and it takes up so much juice that BC Hydro needed to come and install
a new transformer to handle everything.
Thus, we worked until 11 whereupon they promptly killed the juice to the building allowing us to go home earlier.
We still will get paid for eight hours.

Still, we did an eight hour busy shift in four hours. We were hopping

My doctor said to come in at 1 to check my blood pressure.
I arrived at the doctors and was first in to see him, after some idle chit chat he put the cuff on and started pumping, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
He said, "it looks better. It is now 149/80 from being in the two hundreds.

Thank you to all who prayed, and do pray-it works!

While sitting in the Doctors office I thought that, while I don't like having High Blood Pressure, it could be worse.

This forum has had some differing viewpoints some more heated than others-it could be worse!
We get offended-it could be worse.
We don't have the friends we thought we had-it could be worse.
Our friends don't behave in way we thought they would-it could be worse.

This forum has been a place where I have met some "good friends" learned some new things, been able to share some points of view.
I have been able to share some burdens with some, and had the privilege
of carrying others for them.

This forum may not be perfect, or right on at any, or all times, to everyone at some point or another-but it could be worse.

Just a thought, Brother. When you get your blood pressure taken, always make sure they use a large cuff. I am not being insulting but especially for a man's build unless they are very small boned a large cuff should be used It makes a dramatic change in the outcome. They may have done this already but just in case in the future it could help you plead your case.

I should have told you that that dramatic outcome when they use a large cuff is in your favor. I am glad for you that it is down. Praise God that we have access to the greatest power in Heaven and earth. What more could we ask for!
