I really wonder how the average blue collar worker makes a living in California. It is a beautiful state, but real estate is sooooo highhhhhhh!
Plus, you have high taxes and high gasoline.
I think you can live too a much higher standard of living in so many other parts of the country. I live in Tennessee, and we have no state income tax
and real estate prices are reasonable. Of course the average wage is not as
high as it is in California, but I don't think there is enough difference to make
up for the higher cost of living on the west coast.
