As I understand it, the red juice from a steak isn't actually blood, it's myoglobin, which is in the actual muscle tissue itself. So nothing wrong with a rare steak.

Thank you! Very interesting reading, the author makes a very good case for most of his points (although I think he is still under the assumption that the Masoretic Text as we know it today was in existence and available to the 1st century church, but that's another discussion for another time).

It’s water and myoglobin, it’s a protein which turns red due to the iron reacting with oxygen. Rib eyes for everyone!!!

Hamburger is something like 5 bux a pound at wally world. So we've been getting entire chuck rolls from the local butcher for 4.19 a pound. Just have to cut our own steaks, roasts, and fajitas.
