I have volunteered at "soup kitchens" and "food banks" before and aided in handing out food to the lower income families in our county.

Tent Revivals sound cool but I don't think they work anymore given the way things are

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Several Apostolic churches in our area banded together for a 2nd annual tent revival...
Tonight my 11 year old nephew received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and was baptized!

How wonderful Sis. Barb! God will do a work no matter where we are. In a church building, in the grocery store, on the street, in a TENT! Makes no difference to Him. He just looks for the hungry.

Last night they baptized 7 and 3 received the Holy Ghost! Praise the Lord! One more service this evening...
