Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
I've recently read:
An Anatomy of Pain: How the Body and the Mind Experience and Endure Physical Suffering by Dr. Abdul-Ghaaliq Lalkhen.
Additionally, I just finished Dr. Viktor Frankl's Say "Yes" to Life, In Spite of Everything.
I am currently reading through the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Also reading The Red Book, or "Liber Novus", by Dr. Carl Jung.
Finally, I am reading The Rebbe's Army: Inside the World of Chabad-Lubavitch by Sue Fishkoff.

The wife and I have been reading "Caution: A Study in Outward Practical Holiness" by Bro John Scheel. Our pastors gifted it to us a few years ago at a ministers meeting we had at our church and we're both finally taking the time to read it.

Finished "The Byzantine Text-Type & New Testament Textual Criticism" by Harry Sturz. Excellent book.
Getting started with "Social Justice Fallacies" by Thomas Sowell. It looks very promising.

I just finished the audiobook of Prince Harry's book "Spare" and am about to start reading the DK Eyewitness Japan travel guide I just got on Kindle so I can learn about the places in Japan I will be visiting in April.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
