From reading some of these posts, you would think that only Apostolic churches have rules.
Every church has "rules" that are not totally spelled out in the Bible.
Churches in different areas may have different issues that are "unique" to that area.
Thus leading to different "rules" to try and make it clear for everyone what road the "body" needs to travel.

aegsm76, you know what we are talking about. There are "rules" and there are "rules".
We are not talking about "don't eat on the pews" kind of rules, or "you shouldn't visit to x, y, z in this town (because it is excessively wordly)" kind of contextual rules. But instead "thou shalt not wear open shoes", "thou shalt wear your hair up", etc... kind of rules, which definitely shows "high order hermeneutics".
