Abagail seen the destruction ahead and freed herself from her tyrant Husband, Nabal, to give a peace offering to David. The steward of the rich man’s house seen his stewardship soon collapsing, so he invested those resources into others who possessed everlasting habitations.
Nabal could be a type of sin and bondage
Abagail bound to Nabal a type of humanity born into sin
The offerings Abagail made to David a type penance for our sins
Nabal’s death freed Abagail and she became David’s wife making her a queen
We are the bride of Christ the king of kings
